Welcome back and what a great two weeks we have experienced. No matter where you were for the past two weeks, you could not help but get caught up in the “Olympic” fever. The importance of community, both in and out of school, is always present but to be afforded an opportunity to celebrate who we are and to see our athletes accomplish so much, with such grace and determination, made me very proud to be a Canadian.
Catholic education is built upon the premise of developing a strong community with good citizens committed to providing a service to those around us. We will continue to work with our students to help them develop into good citizens who, like our athletes, strive to do their best, encourage and support each other, and do not give up when they do not succeed but try and try again.
We are now in the start of our Lenten season, our next school mass will be Tuesday, March 16th.
The month will be very busy so please ensure that you read your weekly Wednesday newsletters and the week in preview and refer to our website to stay on top of school events and activities.
Keep in touch and remember to celebrate and acknowledge our faith.
